Square Metre Rate Guide

Our projects are typically priced on a m2 rate, and usually fall within the price range of $130-$180 incl. GST/m2. Examples of the factors that determine these rates are listed below.

Type of finish required
Intricacy of the floor layout
Access to the area
Condition of the concrete
Stage of construction in which the polished concrete works can be carried out

Additional Costs

Each project may have unique features that are not included in the general m2 rate. Below are some examples that would incur an additional cost per item/hour/metre etc.

  • Custom edge works (flush edging against finished surfaces, drains etc.)
  • Vertical face work/steps/stairs
  • Removal and disposal of concrete dust bags
  • Filling of saw cuts/joints
  • Bevelling of external edges
  • Repairs and rectification work

Minimum Charge

For areas that are 40m2 and under, we have a minimum charge of $7,040 incl. GST. This is due to the specialised equipment and time needed for the polished concrete process.

Details We Need From You

When submitting an enquiry, please include as much information as you can (including photos and drawings where possible), as this helps us provide you with the most accurate cost estimate, in the quickest time frame. Examples of the details we will require are listed below.

The address of the project
What the floor is going to be used for
If it will it be a new concrete slab or an existing slab
The approximate dimensions/m2 of the floor (and drawings if possible)
If the polished concrete works need to be timed in with other surrounding works
A detailed description and example photo/s of your desired result
A description (and photo/s if possible) of the access from the road to the area to be polished (we have a Pantech tail-lift truck and very large, heavy equipment)
